Extension Type FAQs
All genius wefts are approx. 31.5" wide and sold in packs of 50 grams.
Genius Wefts are double-drawn and 100% remy human hair. They can be cut to accommodate custom placements and desired results.
Because each pack contains the same weight of hair, shorter lengths will appear fuller, while longer lengths may require additional packs to achieve the same density.
Recommended Quantity
- 1-2 packs: volume and moderate additional length
- 3-4 packs: fuller transformations and for longer lengths (6" longer than the natural hair)
- 5+ packs: extra thick hair or extra-long lengths (26" +) for required maximum fullness

All Volume Wefts are approx. 31.5" wide and sold in packs of 100 grams.
Volume Wefts are double-drawn and 100% remy human hair. They can be cut to accommodate custom placements and desired results. Volume Wefts offer the same versatility as Genius Wefts while eliminating the need for stacking, providing the fullness of multiple wefts in one convenient piece.
Because each pack contains the same weight of hair, shorter lengths will appear fuller, while longer lengths may require additional packs to achieve the same density.
Recommended Quantity
- 1 pack: ideal for clients to add fullness. Recommended for 1 to 2 rows
- 2 packs: ideal for most clients to add length and fullness. Recommended for 2–4 rows
- 3 packs: for maximum volume, thicker hair or extra-long transformations. Recommended for 3+ rows

All packs of Nanos contain 50 pieces, with each strand weighing approx. 1 gram, for a total of 50 grams per pack.
Nanos are double-drawn and 100% remy human hair. Ideal for partial and full installations, they offer 360-degree movement. Their discreet, lightweight design is gentle on fine hair while remaining suitable for all hair types.
Nanos are installed using Nano beads (sold separately), require no adhesives, and can be reused multiple times with proper maintenance.

Featuring a durable bonded coating, our premium nylon thread glides smoothly, resists fraying, and provides superior strength for secure, long-lasting extension installations.
Each set includes two premium hair grippers (5 ½" x 3"), presented in a reusable waterproof pouch (7" x 4.5") with a convenient sliding seal for storing your hair grippers and other extension accessories.
Each bottle contains 250 silicone-lined aluminum beads for hair extensions and is available in 5 colours: Black, Dark Brown, Light Brown, Blonde, and Red.
Choose the size that best suits your installation:
- 2mm: ideal for fine hair or smaller sections
- 3mm: ideal for thick hair or larger sections
Returns, Quality Claims & Credits
Due to the custom-ordered and hygienic nature of hair extensions, all sales are final. We do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect colour selection, ordering errors, installation-related concerns, or hair that has been altered or used.
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. Any concerns regarding incorrect items, shipping damage, or fulfillment errors must be reported within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery at hello@longingandco.com with your order details and photos, if applicable. We will review the issue and determine the appropriate resolution.
Examples of potential quality concerns may include:
- Excessive shedding
- Abnormal shrinkage
All claims are subject to review by our Quality Control Team.
The following are not considered product faults:
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper care or maintenance
- Excessive heat styling
- Chemical processing
- Improper installation
- Hair that has been cut, toned, coloured, chemically treated, or otherwise altered
Faulty hair claims may be submitted for review within 3 months of the original delivery date.
To begin a quality review, please email hello@longingandco.com with:
- A description of the concern
- Clear photos of the issue
- Before-and-after installation photos of the hair extensions
- Any relevant care or maintenance information
Additional information may be requested during the review process.
Possibly. In some cases, our Quality Control Team may require the hair to be returned for physical inspection.
If a return is approved for inspection:
- Longing & Co. will provide a return shipping label
- The product must be returned in reasonable condition for review
All claims are reviewed by the Longing & Co. Quality Control Team. The team will determine:
- Whether the product is faulty
- The severity of the issue
- Whether a replacement product or store credit will be offered
Submission of a claim does not guarantee approval.
Depending on the findings of the review, approved claims may qualify for:
- Replacement product
- Store credit toward future purchases
Refunds are only considered in exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of Longing & Co.
Yes. Unless otherwise stated, store credits expire 12 months from the date they are issued.
No. Store credits:
- Are non-transferable
- Have no cash value
- May only be applied toward future purchases from Longing & Co.
